Fees and Rebates

Therapy Fees

The standard fee for a 50-minute individual session is $220.

Payment is required after the appointment. I accept payment via EFTPOS, credit card, or bank transfer.

Medicare Rebates

As a fully registered Clinical Psychologist, I am able to offer Medicare rebates under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.

If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan and referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician, you may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of approximately $141.85 per session.

This rebate can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

I am able to provide psychological services for NDIS plan-managed participants.

If your NDIS plan is managed by a registered plan manager, I can invoice your plan manager directly for services under the "Improved Daily Living" support category. If you are an NDIS plan managed participant, there will generally be no out of pocket expenses to access my services.

Assessment Fees

Stand alone assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder are not unfortunately covered by Medicare.

The fee for a comprehensive ADHD assessment is $900.

The fee for a comprehensive ASD assessment is $1,300.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on your private health insurance policy, you may also be eligible for a rebate through your insurer. Please check with your provider regarding your level of cover for psychological services.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or non-attendance, may incur a cancellation fee. This policy allows me to offer appointments to other clients who may be waiting for support.

Important Information

  • Medicare rebates are processed promptly after payment and can usually be reimbursed to your nominated bank account on the same day.

  • You do not need a Mental Health Care Plan to access psychological services; however, without a referral, Medicare rebates do not apply.

  • Some services, such as court reports, comprehensive assessments, or written reports, may attract different fee structures. Please enquire for further details.
